- • Direct Marketing (Education): Reorganized a company heavily in debt and non-profitable to debt-free and profitable in one year. Helped company grow revenue from $1.8 million to over $10 million, growing sales staff from eight to over eighty of the industry’s top performers.
- • Government Contractor: Responsible for the turnaround of a $1.8MM business running at a loss to a $18MM company performing at a 38% EBITDA. Company sold at at 6X multiplier.
- • Manufacturing and Consumer Direct Sales: Restructured company with a $1.5 million annual loss to profitable within
one year by restructuring sales and operations, eliminating non essential
overhead and setting efficient supply chain processes to maximize
Sumon has over ten years experience delivering strategic marketing initiatives in a variety of industries, including technology, media and consumer products. She has extensive experience in brand building and new product development in both B2B and B2C environments, working with such brands as Colgate-Palmolive, American Idol, Nuance Communications, Experian Marketing Services and 20th Century Fox.
Throughout her career, Sumon has served in product management, marketing communications and advertising roles. Her unique insight into the entire product lifecycle from development through maturity is instrumental in helping clients deliver engaging customer communications and impactful results.
Sumon graduated Cum Laude from Pepperdine University with a B.S. in Business Administration and holds an M.B.A with a concentration in Marketing from UC Irvine, The Paul Merage School of Business, where she is a Dean’s Scholar.
